Back from PaxUnplugged... Badge Quest was a huge hit!

Hey everyone!

Bob, Bree, and I are just getting back from PaxUnplugged in Philadelphia. We were selling the original Complete Gamebook for Badge Quest and nearly ran out of inventory. It was our best seller by far!

Badge Quest Quickstart Rules PDF this week.

Now that Backerkit is all wrapped up, we should have the complete gamebook coming out soon. I'm reformatting it so that it has the original 7.44" x 6.96" size (I really like that look), but that shouldn't take more than the end of this week to accomplish. Once it's done, we're going to issue the PDF. 

Badge Quest Quickstarter Rules Physical and Scenario Books in February.

We've made the executive decision to ship the physicals alongside all the scenario books since so many of you who got the quickstart rules also got the scenario books. Plus, I want to try making them "GMless" and "solo", which means I want at least a couple of weeks of playtesting. Naturally, all the scenario books will be issued in PDF, too, for you to download, probably as soon as early January. You can probably expect the physical quickstart rules plus the scenario books to ship sometime in early February. We guarantee that we'll have those done because we want to have them in stock before we head to GAMA Expo (big board game manufacturer conference) in early March so we can sell those books into distribution and retail. I won't ever issue something to retail or distribution before backers get their goodies.

Everything else is on track for August.

Everything else is on the timeline listed on the campaign page. I spoke with Rico, the minis/badge manufacturer, at PaxUnplugged. They've got everything set and are just waiting for us. My current writing and art timeline has all the digital assets for everything complete by April.

Credits for Hardcover Only Backers

Hey everyone, quick update for US Backers that backed at the Hardcover Only tier. 

We are working through manual credits to your shipping charges now. We have identified everyone who should have gotten credit, including ones who were missed in the initial pull, and are working through those credits now. 

If you think you were missed, especially if you do not see any changes by next week, or you have further questions about this process, email us at [email protected]. Keep in mind we are in the US and are off on Thursday, November 23th!

Hey folks, quick update!

We are locking and charging all orders shortly! 

Those in the US who are only getting the hardcover book are getting a discount on shipping, which you will see as a "Complimentary Credit" in your profile.

Hey all,

Quick update. We heard back a bit later from Backerkit than expected. We are currently working through the shipping charge for those in the US who are only getting books. Since we are getting data so late, we will work on this over the next few days. So, we will be locking orders on Monday now!

Hey all!

Just a heads-up: all orders are set to lock today. Once locked you wont be able to edit your order.

Tomorrow we begin charging. After the dust settles on this process, preliminary orders will begin to ship, notably the quickstart rules.
